With a growing presence across Denmark, Sweden, and Norway, we’re on an exciting growth journey and are now looking for a Senior Backend Developer with expert-level Adobe Commerce / Magento Open Source experience — someone who can design robust backend architecture, build advanced integrations, and optimize performance to support a fast, scalable e-commerce platform.

You will be a key player in the continuos development of our online store in Adobe Commerce on Cloud, building custom solutions that power our growth as a Nordic market leader in gaming systems.

Your primary focus will be backend systems, integrations, and scalable commerce architecture.

You’ll join a small but strong development team consisting of our CTO and a Senior Full Stack Developer, giving you direct influence on technical decisions and the company’s digital future.

Your main tasks on
Adobe Commerce on Cloud

• Create and optimize backend features, services, and integrations.

• Ensure scalability for international expansion.

• Integrate third-party modules and business tools.

• Enable a first-class user experience through reliable backend logic, fast APIs, and scalable systems.

• Support data sources for business intelligence.

• Work with CI/CD pipelines, build hooks, environment variables, and Adobe Commerce Cloud deployment processes.

What you’ll thrive with

• Strong experience building custom backend solutions in Adobe Commerce / Magento Open Source

• A calm, pragmatic mindset in a fast-paced scale-up environment, with a strong focus on performance and system stability

• Deep understanding of backend architecture, integrations, and performance optimization

• Expert-level PHP (OOP) and solid knowledge of Magento’s core concepts

• Experience designing and optimizing databases and APIs

• Comfort working in cloud-based environments with CI/CD and modern deployment workflows

• A structured, analytical approach to problem-solving and clear communication

• The ability to take ownership of complex backend systems

You don’t need to match every point — we’re more interested in strong fundamentals, good judgment, and the ability to build scalable systems.

Big plus if you have

Experience with one or more of the following:

• Knowledge of Adobe Commerce Cloud DevOps tools (cloud pipelines, environments, build/deploy processes).

• Experience with Elasticsearch.

• Experience with Adobe Target server side implementation.

• Experience with client-side and server-side tracking.

• Experience with headless implementation in Adobe Commerce / Magento Open Source.

• Knowledge of Bash scripting for developer productivity.

• Experience with Google Cloud Console.

• A personal passion for gaming.
